Becoming a host
Hosting is a hat any member can wear. You apply, we review it, and once you are approved you can open your own rooms. Read the host guidance first - it is a two-minute read.
- How do I become a host?Read the host guidance, fill in the short apply form, and we review it.
- What happens after I apply to host?A person reviews it. Once approved, your public page goes live and you can open sessions.
- Why can I not find the apply form?We sometimes pause new host applications; the form comes back when they reopen.
- What do hosts get?Host 10 sessions in a month and your membership benefit unlocks - free or half price.
- What counts as hosting a session?You created the session and showed up in the room while it was live. No attendee minimum.
- What if I have a quiet month?One quiet month is fine - benefits continue. Two in a row pauses them until you hit 10 again.
- What if nobody joins my session?It still counts as hosting, and there is no penalty. Keeping rooms busy is our job.
- Do I earn host credit for stepping in?No - stepping in to host a session for someone is a one-off favour, not counted on your meter.
- How do I change my host link?Settings > Profile > Public host profile: pick a handle. Your old link stops working the moment you save.
- What shows on my host card and what shows on my profile?The Hosts directory card shows your headline, city and local time, up to three work chips and your next session. Your profile page shows everything.
