Creating & managing sessions
As a host you open a room by setting a time, a shape, and how many people can join. You can repeat it weekly, choose music, and manage it right up to the start.
- How do I create a session? From Host a session: pick a time, a shape, capacity and music, and publish.
- What are session shapes? How the focus time is split: one long block, blocks with breaks, or pomodoro cycles.
- How many people can join my session? You choose the number of spots when you create the session.
- How do I make a session repeat weekly?Turn on weekly repeat and pick the days - it schedules the next few weeks for you.
- How do I choose the music for my room?Pick a station when you create the session, or plan to share your own music live.
- What is the welcome note?A short line members see before the session, setting the tone or the focus.
- Can I edit a session after creating it?Yes - you can edit the details of an upcoming session you host.
- How do I cancel a session I am hosting? You can cancel a session only while nobody else has booked. Once someone has, use "I can’t make it".
- What if I can’t make a session I’m hosting?Tap "I can’t make it" - the session stays on and a booked member can step in as host.
- What does "Host to be announced" mean? The scheduled host stepped back or has not arrived - the session runs and a member can host it.
- How do I step in as a stand-in host? When a session needs a host, tap "Step in as host" - you get the room controls for that session.
