You can blur your background, choose how strong the blur is (soft, blur, strong), pick one of our twelve scenes - Task Party film sets, quiet offices, calm rooms - or one of the four plain room colours from our film sets, or use a photo of your own. In the lobby, tap the sparkle "Background effects" button; in the room, open the camera menu and choose from the background section. The preview shows exactly what other people will see. Backgrounds work in most modern browsers on a computer.
To use your own photo, tap + Yours and pick an image (JPG or PNG, up to 20 MB). It is resized and kept on this device only - it is never uploaded to Task Party - and it stays until you remove it with the small × on its tile.
