In the lobby and in the room, the mic and camera buttons toggle them on and off. The small arrow next to each opens a menu to pick a specific device - handy if you have more than one camera, headset, or speaker. Your choice is remembered for next time on that device.
On a phone, your session opens with the front (selfie) camera.
