Open the Chat tab in the rail to message the room. It is handy for saying hello, sharing a link, or checking in during a chat-only session. A small dot appears on the tab when there are new messages.
Emojis. The smiley beside the message box opens a picker of about fifty emojis in five groups (faces, hands, hearts, wins, work). Tap one and it drops into your message right where your cursor is. You can also type or paste any emoji from your keyboard. Press Enter or the arrow button to send.
Reactions. Hover over (or tap) any message and a small React button appears at its top-right corner. Pick one of eight quick emojis (👍 ❤️ 💪 🎉 👏 😂 🙏 ✨) to react. Reactions show up as little chips under the message with a count; yours is tinted, and hovering a chip shows who reacted. Tap a chip to add or take back your own reaction. Reactions are visible to everyone in the room and are removed with the message.
Chat is only visible to the people in that session, and it is deleted 30 days after the session ends.
