Running your room
When your session is live you set the pace: welcome people in, hold the focus, and keep the room safe. Your host tools are there for safety, to be used only when the room needs it.
- What controls do I get as a host?Music, "mute everyone", and the safety tools (mute, camera off, remove) on each person.
- How does "Mute everyone" work?It asks everyone’s mic to mute. You can never un-mute someone - that stays their choice.
- How do I keep my room safe? From the ⋯ menu you can mute, turn off a camera, or remove someone - for safety only.
- How do I share my own music in the room?Share a browser tab’s audio (like the Spotify web player) - works in Chrome or Edge on a computer.
- What are the welcome and wrap minutes? The short opening and closing stretches around the focus time, for hellos and celebrating.
- How do I set a good tone as a host?Show up, welcome people by name, keep the agenda you promised, and stay calm and kind.
- Can members control their own sound?Yes - every member sets their own music volume and can mute it just for themselves.
