Safety
Your safety is the point of the small, on-camera, accountable design. Task Party never records your sessions, every report is read by a person, and blocking is silent. Here is how it all works.
- Is my video or audio recorded? No. There is no recording feature in Task Party at all - your video and audio are never saved.
- What can other people see of me?Your chosen name and photo, plus any task titles you share. Your notes and ratings stay private.
- How do I report someone?Use the ⋯ menu on their tile, the flag on a message, or the link on their profile or recap.
- What happens after I report someone?A person reviews every report - urgent safety within 24 hours, everything else within 2 business days.
- How does blocking work?Blocking is silent and mutual: you are never put in a room together, and they are never told.
- What can a host do to keep a room safe?A host can mute someone, turn off their camera, or remove them - for safety only.
- What happens to people who break the rules?A friendly note, then a warning and temporary suspension, then a ban - severe cases skip ahead.
- Can people screenshot or record me?No. Recording or screenshotting another member without consent is against the rules.
- What is the minimum age?Task Party is for adults - you must be 18 or over.
- What data do you store, and how do I delete my account? The little needed to run your account; chat is deleted after 30 days; delete your account any time.
