Badges are little party objects that mark what you have done at Task Party. There are no progress bars and no "three more to go": you simply hold what you have earned, and a badge you hold is yours for good, even if we change the tiers later.
The objects. Each one counts one thing, and the number printed on it is the milestone you reached:
- Ticket stub - sessions attended. Milestones at 1, 5, 10, 30, 50, 100, 200, 300, 500, 1000.
- Vinyl record - hours on the dancefloor. Milestones at 10, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500, 1000.
- Wristband - weeks with at least one session. Milestones at 1, 4, 10, 25, 52.
- Party popper - tasks finished. Milestones at 10, 50, 100, 250, 500, 1000.
- DJ deck - sessions hosted (hosts). Milestones at 1, 10, 30, 50, 100, 200, 300, 500, 1000.
- Name tag - members welcomed (hosts). Milestones at 10, 50, 100, 500, 1000.
Weeks are counted for life: a week with at least one session adds one, and a week off simply pauses the count. Nothing ever resets.
Party personas. After five sessions you also get stickers that describe how you like to work. They follow your habits and can change; nothing is "lost" when they do:
- Flash mob: mostly 30-minute sessions
- Groover: mostly hour-long sessions (45 to 75 minutes)
- Marathon dancer: mostly 90-minute sessions and longer
- Silent disco dancer: mostly chat-only rooms
- Karaoke star: mostly verbal rooms
- Early bird: mostly morning sessions
- Night owl: mostly evening sessions
Where they show. At rest, badges are not on display anywhere. Tap or hover a person's face in a room, on a session page or on a recap to open their card, and the badges they hold appear there. The one exception is a host's own page, where their full shelf is always visible.
Your own. You meet a new badge once, on the recap right after the session that earned it. Your full shelf lives in Settings → Profile → Your badges, where you can also switch off "Show my badges to others" if you would rather keep them to yourself.
